Gift inspiration for non-chocolate Easter gifts!

Originally published on 20th Mar 2023 | Updated 21st Apr 2023

When you think of Easter it's hard not to imagine chocolate eggs of differing designs glistening in fancy packaging, whether they are milk, white, dark, vegan or anything inbetween. However, it may be that you can have too much of a good thing or that chocolate isn't something that features on your diet at any time.

In which case, this guide is for you, where we have put together a selection of ideas incase you are looking for some inspiration outside of the chocolate variety!

1. Non-chocolate sweets: Ok, so this is still a little bit of a cheat to begin with but just because you are not getting chocolate, other sweets might still be an option. There really is no limit to what is available and if you want to make it a little different to normal then you could opt for a handmade sweet cone from your local shop. Another trend that is popular with many is flavoured popcorn and some of those on offer really do look and taste like luxury gifts.

2.Easter craft: There are plenty of great ideas for craft kits and not only do these make a nice Easter display when finished, they also have the potential to give you a bit of quiet whilst they are completed (maybe!)

3. Soft Toys: You can get some beautiful soft toys around the Easter theme which will please a wide range of ages.

4. Books: You could go for the traditional story of Easter for younger children, or just a nice story about spring and Easter fun.

5. Easter baking: Children love to get involved in the kitchen so one idea is to give them a baking gift themed around Easter. You could get Easter egg shaped cookie cutters, rabbit cupcake cases, or just some food-safe decorating pens for colouring some Easter biscuits.

This is just a small selection of options available. For older children or adults there are quite a few Easter themed beauty products available this year (such as this egg filled bonanza LOOKFANTASTIC THE BOX: Beauty Egg Limited Edition (Worth over £201) - LOOKFANTASTIC ) and with a little but of searching you are bound to be able to find just what you're after.
