We updated the design, gave the brand some new life, improved accessibility, and worked on the user experience throughout.

Giftwhale has had a huge 2017 update, and we want to share what we've changed with you here.

The first thing you'll probably notice is the new colour scheme, which has an increased contrast rating, which will improve accessibility and make it easier to browse the application and do all the gifting you come here to do.

The various buttons you use throughout the application have been rethought, so that it's clearer where they are and what does what.

We've completely redeveloped the forms you use when you're creating an event, which provide more feedback and a better guided experience. When creating a wish list for someone other than yourself it's now easier to read and create, through the better form design.

As well as the above, we've... updated the homepage, updated the shopping list page, made items clearer, introduced a new font, and many many other small tweaks. Check out the new look now, and why not create an event while you're at it :)
