Giftwhale for iPhone

Spotted the perfect gift? Save it to your wish lists in seconds, from any app on your phone.

A faster way to add, not a replacement for the web app

Your wish lists, reservations, gift exchanges and everything else still live on giftwhale.com. The app does one thing brilliantly: it makes adding items from your phone effortless. For managing everything else, the web app is still home.

Save an item in three taps

No copying links, no switching apps. Wherever you spot something, Giftwhale is right there in the Share menu.

1

Find something you love

Browse any shop, app or website as you normally would.

2

Tap Share, choose Giftwhale

It sits right alongside Messages and Mail in the share sheet.

3

Pick a list. Done.

Choose who it's for and which list, then save. That's it.

What you can do with the app

Everything you need to capture a gift idea the moment it strikes.

Save from any app

If it has a Share button, you can save it to Giftwhale. Shops, browsers, social apps, anywhere.

Details filled in for you

The app grabs the name, image and price automatically, so there's nothing to type.

Choose who and where

Save to any of your wish lists, or to your Ideas inbox, for yourself or a managed account.

Recently added at a glance

See the last few things you saved right on the home screen, so you know it worked.

Sign in once, stays in sync

Everything you add syncs with your Giftwhale account and appears on the web instantly.

Jump to the web in a tap

Open the wish list you just added to on the web whenever you want to manage it.

On Android or another phone?

There's no separate Android app, but you don't need one. Install Giftwhale straight from your browser (Add to Home Screen on the menu, or Install app) and you'll get the very same “Share to Giftwhale” option in your phone's share menu, from any app.

What still happens on the web

The app is focused purely on quick saving for now. Building and reordering lists, gift reservations, gift exchanges, thank-you letters and account settings all live on the web app, where they've always been.
